A very premium quality boxset! The game itself is quirky and fun with a beginner to intermediate skill level. Cute references here and there to other games. Allin it took me about 2.5 – 3hrs to play through. The only disappointment was knowing I likely missed a couple of in game awards that aren’t mandatory however once the end credits rolled the save file was gone with the only option being to restart… I will say I played on an Analogue Pocket and not actual GBC hardware. Overall very pleased with the game. Thank you

I purchased this along with another CE. I am an international buyer (located in the US), and was very impressed with just how well packaged they were. Not a single dreaded corner smash, and it was even protected against water damage.
I tested out the cartridge in my GBA (as my GBC is having hardware issues) and it runs great. Since this review is specifically for the CE, I only wanted to review the physicals and not the software, but I can tell I’m in for a treat.
This one came in a gorgeous book-shaped hardcover box with gold foil on its front and spine. I adore how neatly the items are presented inside, even the character cards which have a decorative paperboard wrapping. The game box has attractive red foil line art, the badge is much larger (and heavier) than expected, and the reversible acrylic standee is very cool and unique. I also appreciate the bigger artbook in this release.
I did notice a few minor adjustments from the original preorder description, but these don’t detract from the set and aren’t even worth mentioning. I saw that the listing has been updated so it’s accurate as of now. I also wasn’t anticipating the box to be as large as Bitmap Soft’s other CE releases so that was a welcome surprise.
I now have three CE sets from Bitmap Soft and I really appreciate how they don’t all use the same exact formula, but they all have a consistent premium “made for collectors by collectors” feel.
